Continuing Medical Education

The ISMRM/SCMR Workshop and SCMR’s 20th Scientific Sessions offers CME to eligible participants.

The Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance designates the Scientific Sessions live activity for a maximum of 15.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

T​he Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance designates the ISMRM/SCMR Workshop live activity for a maximum of 8.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Maintenance of Certification (MOC) for the American Board of Internal Medicine

The ISMRM/SCMR Workshop and SCMR’s 20th Scientific Sessions offers MOC credits to eligible participants.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 24.5 MOC points [and patient safety MOC credit] in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

Continuing Education for TechnologistS

The ISMRM/SCMR Workshop and SCMR’s 20th Scientific Sessions offers CTE to eligible participants.

This activity is approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) for Category A continuing education credit. ​A maximum of 14.75 credits may be claimed for this activity

Instructions for obtaining CME/CTE creditS

  • ​Register for the meeting
  • Attend the sessions for which you seek credit in their entirety
  • Complete the online post-activity evaluation
  • You will receive a certificate for your files once you submit the evaluation

Please include the following information on your evaluation form:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • ABIM ID (Every ABIM Board Certified physician has a unique, six-digit ABIM ID number. Physicians who do not know their ABIM ID can look it up on ABIM’s website here. 
  • Date of Birth (mm/dd) - please submit this in the required format to ensure accurate submission to ABIM
